If there’s one thing Ford knows a thing or two about, it’s customization. Getting your Ford, your way is easy at Tropical Ford thanks to our end-to-end custom order process. Ford recently showed off how you could customize new vehicles like the Maverick and Bronco even more by bringing 40 personalized project vehicles to this year’s SEMA Show.
“We designed Ford vehicles to be easier to customize, with installation points and aftermarket accessories engineered from the start of the design process,” said Eric Cin, Ford global director, vehicle personalization, accessories, and licensing. “We work actively with the aftermarket to share our product designs so customers can personalize and put the finishing touches on their vehicle to make it all their own.”
But customization isn’t just for the pros. With Ford Licensed Accessories, Genuine Ford Parts, and Ford Performance Parts — available at accessories.ford.com and through Tropical Ford in Orlando, Florida — you can get a truck or SUV that perfectly fits your style. Each year, Ford plays a starring role at SEMA — the mega-popular convention for aftermarket vehicle customizers. At SEMA 2021 this October, Ford came to play with several custom takes on one of the newest additions to the lineup — the Built Wild™ Ford Bronco.
Ford brought four Ford Broncos and two Bronco Sports at SEMA 2021, showing off how customizable the new off-road-ready SUVs are. While each of the six custom Bronco vehicles is exciting and interesting in its own way, our favorite might just be the 2021 Bronco RTR Fun-Runner.
Created by Ford Performance legend and professional fun-haver Vaughn Gittin Jr., the Bronco RTR Fun-Runner leverages a mix of Ford Licensed Accessories and Ford Performance parts, turning a Bronco Badlands™ two-door into an SUV that looks perfect for a day at the beach in Florida.
But the Fun-Runner is just the tip of the iceberg. The 2021 Ford Bronco by Tucci Hot Rods is maybe the most unique of the bunch, swapping in Mattracks 88-Series quad tracks for wheels to make it better suited for mountain expeditions. There’s also the impressive 2021 Bronco BAJA FORGED by LGE-CTS Motorsports, which features an ICON Vehicle Dynamics® 3.0 suspension lift and an onboard refrigerator. On top of these and other Broncos, Ford rolled out customized takes on the all-new Maverick, Mustang, Mustang Mach-E, and F-150 at SEMA 2021. If you want to upgrade your Ford with great Ford Accessories, contact Tropical Ford in Orlando and we’ll help hook you up.
The original Bronco was beloved by its dedicated fans for its athletic performance and its open-air philosophy, so many people had high expectations when Ford announced it was resurrecting the iconic nameplate for 2021. Luckily for long-time Bronco lovers, the revived 4×4 is just as adventurous as before – and even more customizable.
You’re probably familiar with the fact that the Ford Bronco has removable doors and roof panels to promote an open-air feel. However, you might not know that truly adventurous souls can basically remove any part of the Bronco’s exterior parts (including mudguards and fenders) to swap them out for something else depending on your mood. You’ll be able to adjust the appearance and functionality of your Bronco nearly as easily as you switch between G.O.A.T. modes™.
On top of allowing you to make your vehicle as unique as you are, the modular nature of the Ford Bronco gives you an affordable way to refresh your vehicle over and over again. Per the chief Bronco designer, Paul Wraith, the Bronco’s mix-and-match design philosophy “gives [owners] the opportunity to create the perfect 4×4 for their unique needs without requiring a lot of mechanical expertise or experience.”
The adventurous 2021 Ford Bronco will be available at Tropical Ford before you know it, so keep an eye on our online inventory.

Just like the majestic animal the SUV gets its name from, the recently-revived Ford Bronco – and newly-minted Ford Bronco Sport – were Built Wild™ to roam free and find adventure at every turn. In honor of the resurrection of the Bronco, Ford has created an endowment to help protect the rugged terrain we all love to explore.
The all-new Bronco Wild Fund is expected to raise as much as $5 million each year from the sale of Ford Bronco and Bronco sport vehicles as well as licensed apparel and other merchandise. The Bronco’s Brand Marketing Manager, Mark Grueber, explains that the goal of the initiative is to allow Bronco lovers to “connect with the outdoors on a deeper, more personal level – ultimately enabling them to become responsible stewards of our nation’s treasures.”
The first recipient organization of funds from the Bronco Wild Fund is the National Forest Foundation, which is expected to use Ford’s contributions to plant one million trees before 2022 in continued reforestation efforts. The second Bronco Wild Fund beneficiary is Outward Bound USA, which will use the funding to empower youth while instilling in them a love of the great outdoors.

Recently, car enthusiasts of all varieties have been increasingly excited over the return of the legendary Ford Bronco in the form of the all-new 2020 Ford Bronco. For 30 years, the Bronco was one of the world’s leading 4×4 SUVs, boasting now-classic styling and incredible capability. And now Bronco fans have even more to get revved up about, as a new trademark request filed by Ford might suggest the coming of a new “Baby Bronco” called the Ford Bronco Scout.
Ford recently filed to trademark the “Scout” and “Bronco
Scout” nameplates. And while it’s not unheard of for auto brands to apply for
trademarks simply to have rights to them, it makes a lot of sense to speculate
that a reveal might be close at hand for the Bronco Scout.
With reports that Ford will soon release a smaller crossover styled after the all-new Bronco being dubbed the “Baby Bronco,” it seems likely that the “Bronco Scout” nameplate could be used to designate just such a vehicle. After all, the Scout name is unmistakably reminiscent of the International Harvester Scout, another 4×4 smiler to the original Ford Bronco. For now, though, we’ll have to content ourselves with the coming release of the all-new 2020 Ford Bronco while keeping an ear to the ground for what’s to come next.
