Fun Things to Do in Orlando

Everyone knows about Orlando’s famous theme parks, but the truth is that Orlando has a whole lot more going for it than Disney. Teeming with culture thanks to its proximity to Central America and one of the most populous, tourist-friendly places in the country, Orlando is the perfect place to visit even if you don’t like theme parks.

One of the best attractions of Orlando is International Drive, an 11-mile thoroughfare in Orlando that takes you through the main tourist strip of the city. You can even ride a trolley through the streets to get the authentic Orlando experience!

Then there’s the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, a beautiful theater where you can catch a musical or a concert. If you’re more of a history and science person, visit SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology, where you can see over 500 skeletons.

If you want to do something outdoors to enjoy the beautiful Orlando weather, stop by the Harry P. Leu Gardens, where you can see beautiful rose gardens full of butterflies and other wildlife. Of course, these are just a few of the best tourist attractions in Orlando—visit the Visit Orlando website to find out much more!
