Make Parking Easier with the Ford EcoSport

With the ever-growing size of many American cars, parking can sometimes be a nightmare, especially if you are in the city. According to INRIX, a transportation analytics organization, drivers spend an average of 17 hours a year looking for parking. This number maxes out at 107 hours a year for drivers in New York City.

If you live in a crowded urban area, you might want to consider investing in a compact Ford EcoSport. Per Ford, the EcoSport is the most compact SUV in North America.* So while many parking spots are too small for some SUVs, they’re just the right size for the EcoSport. Ford calls these spots “EcoSpots.” The EcoSport measures only 161.3 inches in length, while still offering lots of interior space for passengers and cargo.

In fact, the EcoSport is 8.5 inches shorter than a Mini Countryman, but still has more cargo area. It is also more than 7 inches shorter than the Buick Encore while still having more cargo space. The EcoSport also boasts versatile cargo space thanks to flip-and-fold second-row seats and an adjustable cargo floor.

In addition to its compact size, the EcoSport comes well-equipped for a practical and connected driving experience. Standard features include Bluetooth® connectivity, two USB ports, a rearview camera, and a cargo cover.

Stop by Tropical Ford to test-drive the delightful EcoSport for yourself.

All-New Expedition, First-Ever EcoSport Satisfy Ford SUV Demand

all-new expedition - Ford Expedition - Tropical Ford

Over the past few decades, SUVs have been taking over the family-friendly vehicle segment. Rather than turning towards minivans, many consumers are instead looking for more stylish alternatives — and because of this, Ford SUV demand is high.

With this demand continuing to grow, Tropical Ford is pleased to announce that two new vehicles will be coming to our showroom — the all-new full-size Expedition and the first-ever subcompact EcoSport.

These two new vehicles will act as bookends for the American carmaker’s leading SUV lineup. In the past six years alone, Ford has seen its SUV sales increase by 28%, and it doesn’t look like these are going to change any time soon.

“SUVs are hot, and we’ve brought two new ones to the fold that cater to two completely different sets of people,” said Michael O’Brien, Ford SUV Marking Manager. “Whether you’re downsizing but still want SUV capability, or looking for more space for your growing family, the Ford lineup has you covered.”

Ford has introduced the new Expedition to appeal to the oldest Millennials, who are considered the largest demographic of three-row SUV buyers. The Eco-Sport, on the other hand, is looking to appeal to Baby Boomers, who are beginning to look to downsize their current vehicles.

We at Tropical Ford can’t wait to get these incredible new vehicles on our lot!
