If there’s one thing Ford knows a thing or two about, it’s customization. Getting your Ford, your way is easy at Tropical Ford thanks to our end-to-end custom order process. Ford recently showed off how you could customize new vehicles like the Maverick and Bronco even more by bringing 40 personalized project vehicles to this year’s SEMA Show.
“We designed Ford vehicles to be easier to customize, with installation points and aftermarket accessories engineered from the start of the design process,” said Eric Cin, Ford global director, vehicle personalization, accessories, and licensing. “We work actively with the aftermarket to share our product designs so customers can personalize and put the finishing touches on their vehicle to make it all their own.”
But customization isn’t just for the pros. With Ford Licensed Accessories, Genuine Ford Parts, and Ford Performance Parts — available at accessories.ford.com and through Tropical Ford in Orlando, Florida — you can get a truck or SUV that perfectly fits your style. The list of cool features for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning seems as wide as it is long, but one of the features that stands out most lies under the hood. No, we’re not talking about an engine — the F-150 Lightning is all-electric, so there’s none there to be found. Instead, the space under the hood is what Ford calls a Mega Power Frunk — the largest front trunk space in the auto industry today.
When designing the F-150 Lightning, the teams at Ford listened to drivers to make sure that the Mega Power Frunk more than lived up to its superlative name. To achieve this, the frunk offers 14 cubic feet of storage that’s lockable, drainable, and easily cleaned. That makes the already awesome F-150 Lightning ideal for tailgating in Orlando, Florida.
Even better? It features four 120-volt electric outlets that work with the truck’s Pro Power Onboard built-in generator. You can use these power sources for everything from TVs and consoles to refrigerators so that your pre-gaming ritual is limited only by your imagination.
“The F-150 Lightning pickup’s Mega Power Frunk is one of those features that reshape what vehicles can provide for customers,” said Ford F-150 Lightning Chief Program Engineer Linda Zhang. “Its sheer size, ample power supply, drainable floor, and open and close system that opens with the touch of a button make it frunking awesome!”
Frunking awesome, indeed. Everything about the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning fits that description, and that’s why Ford has already sold out of its first run of reservations. Don’t miss out the next time around — contact your friends at Tropical Ford in Orlando and we’ll make sure you get your reservation in the next time this electrifying truck is up for grabs.
The 2022 Ford Mustang Stealth Edition Appearance Package adds several blacked-out touches to the exterior of the world-famous pony. You can pair 19-inch Ebony Black aluminum wheels, black mirror caps, and even a black pony emblem on the grille with your choice of Atlas Blue, Carbonized Gray, Dark Matter, and Shadow Black.
“The black accents really give the car a whole new persona, sinister and sporty all at once,” said Ford Mustang Brand Marketing Manager Jim Owens. “Naturally, the package needed the right name. Stealth Edition says it all.”
Ford is also upgrading the California Special for 2022, allowing drivers to add the GT Performance Package. This includes features like a TORSEN® limited-slip differential, Brembo® six-piston front brake calipers, and a retuned chassis — all adding up to smoother and more refined performance.
Ford continues to step it up with the Mustang in 2022. In addition to the Stealth Edition Appearance Package, the 2022 Ford Mustang will offer an Ice White Edition, the first-ever Mustang Coastal Edition, and a limited 2022 Mustang Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition in Brittany Blue.

Each year, Ford plays a starring role at SEMA — the mega-popular convention for aftermarket vehicle customizers. At SEMA 2021 this October, Ford came to play with several custom takes on one of the newest additions to the lineup — the Built Wild™ Ford Bronco.
Ford brought four Ford Broncos and two Bronco Sports at SEMA 2021, showing off how customizable the new off-road-ready SUVs are. While each of the six custom Bronco vehicles is exciting and interesting in its own way, our favorite might just be the 2021 Bronco RTR Fun-Runner.
Created by Ford Performance legend and professional fun-haver Vaughn Gittin Jr., the Bronco RTR Fun-Runner leverages a mix of Ford Licensed Accessories and Ford Performance parts, turning a Bronco Badlands™ two-door into an SUV that looks perfect for a day at the beach in Florida.
But the Fun-Runner is just the tip of the iceberg. The 2021 Ford Bronco by Tucci Hot Rods is maybe the most unique of the bunch, swapping in Mattracks 88-Series quad tracks for wheels to make it better suited for mountain expeditions. There’s also the impressive 2021 Bronco BAJA FORGED by LGE-CTS Motorsports, which features an ICON Vehicle Dynamics® 3.0 suspension lift and an onboard refrigerator. On top of these and other Broncos, Ford rolled out customized takes on the all-new Maverick, Mustang, Mustang Mach-E, and F-150 at SEMA 2021.
