Ford Driving Skills for Life is a program developed by Ford designed to educate new and younger drivers on the safest driving techniques for the many decades they will spend behind the wheel. The Manheim Auto Auction in Orlando was the first stop in the tour, which visited 18 cities and made 80 stops from Orlando all the way to Alaska.
Teen drivers attended FDSL classes which focused on a range of driving skills: vehicle handling, speed, hazard recognition, and the dangers of distracted driving.
Ford’s educational program started in 2003 and
has since helped over 1 million drivers across the United States and 46 other
countries learn the skills that will help keep them and others safe on the
road. This year, the course expanded to 30 countries across all continents
Smartphone usage has created a new demand for
programs such as FDSL. A 2019 study conducted by the program found that 62
percent of Generation Z drivers admitted that they have used their phones while
driving, even though roughly the same amount believe that using your phone while
behind the wheel should warrant severe punishment.

The 2021 Ford Explorer XLT Sport Appearance
Package will give you a Carbonized Grey grille, skid plates, an Explorer hood
badging, dual chrome exhaust tips, 20-inch wheels, and ActiveX Light Slate
two-tone seats complete with premium accent stitching.
History indicates that the XLT Sport Appearance Package will be popular among 2021 Explorer owners; when the package was previously available, 25 percent of all Explorer XLTs were equipped with the stylish add-ons.
