Off-roading enthusiasts and SUV fans are on the edge of their seats awaiting the arrival of the new Ford Bronco. The long-awaited SUV is slated for launch in 2020, but some details are already slipping to the public. For example, the new Ford Bronco will be more like the Troller out of Brazil than the F-150 Raptor.
Most American drivers aren’t familiar with Brazil’s Troller. All you really need to know is that the SUV is off-road capable and offers an excellent utility-driven design. The Ford Bronco, however, will be offered as a four-door SUV rather than a two-door model like the Troller.
The Bronco will offer a standard 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 engine designed to offer performance and efficiency. Don’t fret, off-roaders. The 2021 Ford Bronco will feature capability beyond measure.
“Bronco will be a no-compromise midsize 4×4 utility for thrill seekers who want to venture way beyond the city,” Joe Hinrichs, Ford president of the Americas, said in January.
While Ford has yet to comment on the leaks, the company did confirm that the SUV will be based on the Ranger pickup truck. Even so, it gives Bronco fans more to look forward to as 2020 creeps closer with each passing day.
We here at Tropical Ford can’t wait to see the new Ford Bronco make its public debut!
